Shri Vinodh Kumar, the younger son of Sri N. Sugalchand Jain, has been actively associated with the management of various businesses run by his father for over two decades. He has gradually taken over the business and has now started independently managing various businesses and philanthropic activities in Chennai. He renders constructive and active support to the charitable activities of various Trusts. He constantly keeps himself aware of what is going on all over the world in the fields of finance and business management. He has also undergone specialized training in managing business as well on Corporate Governance at ISB, Hyderabad.
He is directly in charge of the Sugal & Damani Share Brokers Ltd. and expanded the scope of activities of the company by developing a group of loyal clients over the years. Sugal & Damani Share Brokers Ltd is the member of NSE and BSE in cash as well as FAO segments.
He is engaged in property development through directorships on the Board of two companies namely Ankur Foundations Pvt Ltd and Ansu Builders Pvt Ltd. which have completed the construction of several commercial / residential buildings at Chennai and Bangalore.He has developed number of companies like Reliance (Reliance Retail), TVS, ABT Maruti, GATI, Lee & Muirhead Ltd (Integrated Logistics Solutions) and Recall Total Information as well as warehouses with dedicated facilities.
Keeping in view the need for corporate social responsibility, Sri Vinodh Kumar renders constructive and active support to the charitable activities of the family through various Trusts that include the Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation which awards individuals and institutions engaged in serving their fellowmen for Excellence in Human Endeavour in the field of Non-Violence & Vegetarianism, Education, Medicine, Community & Social Service. He is associated with the management of Vidhya Jyothi Trust which is running 3 schools in Chennai and 1 Engineering college in Rajasthan, providing quality education at modest rates of fees. He is also the Trustee of Ganadipathy Tulsi's Engineering College in Vellore.
He is the Trustee of Singhvi Charitable Trust that takes a keen interest in conducting eye camps in rural areas of the State, entirely free of cost. He also keenly participates in decision making relating to the donations made by the various Trusts with which his father and brother are associated.
He constantly keeps himself aware of what is going on all over the world in the fields of finance and business management. He has also undergone specialized training in managing business as well on Corporate Governance at ISB, Hyderabad. He has planned several new projects in various spheres which are in various stages.
