Mr. Prasan Chand Jain joined the Sugal&Damani Group as part of family to assist his father Shri Sugal Chand Jain at Bangalore in the year 1987 since then he has steered the Sugal&Damani group with single minded focus on making the group one of the top lottery operator in the country. During this journey, he has moved to Bhopal, Varanasi & Delhi and finally settled down in Gurugram. He has been responsible for strategic decision for restructuring the group and also professionalized various businesses within the group, with a better bottom line and more focused on market oriented approach. He has been formally appointed as group Managing Director in the year 2012 and presently leading a core management team responsible for operation and management of different divisions / group companies.
With a drive to achieve something new, Mr. Jain has taken keen interest in the automation and bringing new technology to the lottery operation. He was instrumental in successful launch of the online lotteries in the year 2003, under his leadership Sugal&Damani at present is a well-known lottery operator in the country and managing its top position from last 10 years. During this journey he has also pursued Sugal&Damani group to diversify to other related businesses which includes e-commerce & payments and also global technology provider in the field of lottery and gaming.
Under his dynamic leadership, Sugal&Damani group has become an internationally known name in the field of lottery operator and technology provider and the brand Sugal&Damani has a recognition value across the continents. At present Sug-al&Damani group is having varied business interest such as Information Technology, E-commerce & Payments, Real Estate and many more.
Mr. Jain has taken keen interest in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the group. He is the Managing Trustee of Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation – a Public Charitable Trust which has instituted Mahaveer Awards for excellence in human endeavor. He is also one of the promoters Trustee of Empathy Foundation – CSR arm of Sugal&Damani group. Empathy Foundation is serving underprivileged in the rural and economically backward areas. The core activities of Empathy Foundation include projects related with healthcare, drinking water, solar lights, sanitation to rural societies and Rebuilding of Government schools in Rural areas of Maharashtra.
Keeping in view his professional approach towards corporate governance and CSR outlook, Mr. Jain was earlier appointed as Zone-Chairman of Jain International Trade Organization (JITO),North zone , and was also Director in the JITO Apex body for the year (20-22).
